ABSTRACT

Background: Mental disorders are brain disorders characterized by disturbances in emotions,
thought processes, behavior and perception (perception of the five senses. According to data from
the World Health Organization (WHO, 2022) there is schizophrenia affecting around 24 million
people or 1 in 300 people (0, 32%) throughout the world. Hallucinations are sensory perception
errors that attack the five senses, the hallucinations that usually occur are auditory and visual
hallucinations, although olfactory, tactile and taste hallucinations appear when the client has a

negative response to the stressors they experience the presence of hallucinations is a loss of self-
control which can cause a person to panic so that his behavior is controlled by his hallucinations,

in which case the patient can endanger himself, other people and the environment around the
patient, such as committing suicide, killing other people, and even destroying the environment.
Objective: This study aims to describe the application of generalist therapy. Method: This research
uses a case study design by providing generic therapy. The respondents used were 2 patients with
hallucinations at the Galuh Foundation 2024. Results: Before generalist therapy, Mr. A's
hallucinations were in the moderate hallucination category while Mr. F in the moderate
hallucination category. After carrying out Generalist Hallucination Therapy, Mr. A and Mr. F are
in the medium category.
