ABSTRACT

A nursing problem that can be encountered in patients with mental disorders is the
risk of violent behavior where this problem is a status of a strong range of emotions
(Sari, 2024). Violent behavior is an angry emotion that is felt by someone to be
shown excessively and uncontrollably either verbally or injuring other people and/or
destroying the surroundings (Pongdatu, 2023). The nursing problem of violent
behavior can be overcome with psychopharmacological and non-pharmacological
measures. The non-pharmacological method is implementing nursing care actions
with implementation strategies (SP) 1-4. Psychoreligious dhikr therapy is a therapy
that uses dhikr media in the implementation process. The application of
psychoreligious dhikr to patients at risk of violent behavior aims to reduce signs and
symptoms of violent behavior (Badori, 2024). This research uses a case study with a
nursing care approach using evidence based practice. The respondents in this study
were 2 people who were given psychoreligious dhikr therapy intervention using a
signs and symptoms form on the risk of violent behavior. The results of this study
show that the effectiveness of spiritual therapy by performing dhikr can reduce signs
