ABSTRACT

Background : Social isolation is a situation where an individual experiences disturbance or decline

or is even completely unable to interact with other people around him. One of the non-
pharmacological therapies carried out on social isolation patients is socialization group activity

therapy. Socialization Group Activity Therapy (TAKS) is a very important series of activities to help
and facilitate social isolation patients to socialize gradually. Objective : To analyze the application
of socialization group activity therapy to improve interaction skills in social isolation patients at
Rskd X Jakarta. Method : The method used is a case study. Results : There was an increase in
patient interactions with other people, namely patients were able to introduce themselves, get
acquainted, have conversations, and were able to choose, convey and give opinions. Conclusion :
From the analysis of the two patients, it can be concluded that the interaction abilities of both
patients have increased, therefore the socialization group activity therapy intervention sessions 1-4
are effective in increasing the interaction abilities of social isolation patients.
