ABSTRACT

Stressor is a situation that can cause stress. One part of stress is social stressors. Social stressors
include pressure from social relationships, conflict in relationships, problems in the family. Marriage
and divorce are social stressors that can cause mental disorders. Mental disorders are conditions in
which a person experiences disturbances in thoughts, behavior and feelings which are manifested in
the form of a set of symptoms or significant changes in behavior. Signs and symptoms of
schizophrenia are estimated to be more than 90% of patients experiencing hallucinations.
Hallucinations are sensory perception errors that attack the five senses, the common things that occur
are auditory and visual hallucinations although hallucinations of smell, touch and taste can occur.
The aim of this study was to analyze the application of group activity therapy (TAK) Perceptual
Stimulation session III to changes in signs and symptoms in patients with hallucinations. The method
of this scientific work uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The type of research is a case study
in the form of nursing care using evidence based practice. The subjects in this research were 2
patients with auditory hallucinations. The results of this study were that there was a decrease in signs
and symptoms before group activity therapy (TAK) and after group activity therapy (TAK). The
biggest change in signs and symptoms occurred in Mrs. E was 91.66% and then Mrs. Y was 84.61%.
