ABSTRACT

Background: Hallucinations are a symptom of mental disorders where sufferers experience changes
in sensory perception and feel false sensations in the form of sounds, sights, tastes or touches. The
patient perceives stimuli that are not actually real. One of the non-pharmacological therapies
carried out on patients with hallucinations is classical musik therapy. Classical musik is soft musik,
which can make a person feel relaxed. Someone who listens to classical musik easily reaches a
relaxed and calm state. Objective: To analyze the application of classical musik therapy to reduce
the score of signs of hallucinatory symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations at the Galuh
Foundation, Bekasi City. Method: The method used is a case study. Results: There was a decrease
in the score of hallucination symptoms in both patients with auditory hallucinations. Conclusion:
Analysis of the two patients can be concluded that classical musik therapy is effective in reducing
the score of hallucination symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations.
