ABSTRACT

Introduction: Postnatal family planning is the use of family planning methods up to one year after
giving birth or within the first year of birth. These restrictions aim to prevent missed opportunities
for postpartum mothers. Screening for medical eligibility criteria for contraceptive use with the
KLOP Wheel aims to identify client conditions that require special treatment before using the family
planning method. Medical Eligibility Criteria for the use of Contraception or the KLOP Wheel were
created to help support family planning programs in improving the welfare of families and society
as a whole. Objective: The aim of this research is to analyze education using KLOP media and
contraceptive videos on the knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers in making decisions
about using family planning. Method: in this research the method used is the case study method.
The technique used in this research was the KLOP screening method and using a pre-post test
knowledge and attitude questionnaire. Results: Description of knowledge before being given
education, namely 1 respondent had low knowledge (
