GAMBARAN SKRINING ANTIBODI Treponema pallidum DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE IMUNOKROMATOGRAFI DI PUSKESMAS BOJONG RAWALUMBU KOTA BEKASI

ABSTRACT

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (PMS) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum
(T.pallidum) that is mostly transmissible through sexual intercourse. In the southern part of the
country, research on syphilis screening is rarely done. Thus, the aim of this study is to find out the
screening picture of Treponema pallidum antibodies as well as the relationship between the results of
the examination with the main factor of infection in Puskesmas Bojong Rawalumbu Kota Bekasi
period February-June 2024. This study uses cross sectional research design with the type of research
Descriptive and data collection Purposive sampling that will be carried out in February–Juni 2024 in
Pushesma Rawalumbo Kota Bekazi. The data obtained will be processed in the form of a table using
Microsoft Exel 2013 which lists the number and percentage (%) and processed on SPSS. Based on
the results of the study on the overview of the results from the rapid test of syphilis antibodies carried
out on 50 respondents received from Puskesmas Bojong Rawalumbu it can be concluded that as
many as 15 respondents (30%) positive and 35 respondents (70%) negative and there is a correlation
between the result of the syphilic examination with the use of condoms, the age of first relationship
and the behavior of changing partners. The level of knowledge and education has nothing to do with
the results of syphilis antibodies.
