HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PERAWAT DENGAN IMPLEMENTASI DISCHARGE PLANNING RUANG RAWAT RS X SWASTA DEPOK

Introduction: Discharge planning is part of the client's nursing programme that begins when the
patient enters the hospital until the patient is discharged from the hospital where this discharge
planning programme includes providing health education to patients through the diets provided,
activities, medicines and other special orders. Nurses are one of the health workers who are directly
involved in the implementation and success of discharge planning. Nurses who do not carry out
discharge planning properly and correctly will have an impact on the quality of patient health.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge and
attitude of nurses in the implementation of discharge planning at X Private Hospital Depok.
Methods: This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional
research design. Sampling is simple random sampling with 73 respondents. Data collection using a
questionnaire. Data processing using SPSS with Chi-Square test or fisher Exact test. Results: The
results showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge and the implementation
of discharge planning with a p-value of 0.736 p>α (0.05) while in the variable nurse attitude with
the implementation of discharge planning the p-value was 0.117 p>α (0.05) thus indicating that
there was no significant relationship. Conclusion: there is no relationship and attitude of nurses
with the implementation of discharge planning in the Depok Private Hospital X Ward.
