Corona Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease that cause by a virus called Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-Cov-2). Indonesia reported its first COVID-19 case on March 2, 2020 and declared COVID-19 as an emergency disease that requires prevention and control. KEMENKES RI reported that 1,353,834 confirmed cases of COVID19 with 36,721 deaths as of March 3, 2021. Tangerang Selatan city confirmed that 7.802 cases and 332 death cases per March, 3rd 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of D-Dimer levels in COVID-19 patients at a Bintaro Private Hospital, Tangerang Selatan. This research design is cross sectional. This type of research is a secondary research with a cross sectional research design. Sampling methods that researcher use is purposing sampling. The time of the study was carried out on March 15th, 2021 with the data period being taken from September 2020 to February 2021. The results of data collection were obtained as many as 226 confirmed COVID-19 patients using the PCR method and conducting a D-Dimer examination. The percentage of gender in the sample is 109 men (48.2%) and 117 women (51.8%). Based on the data from the D-Dimer examination, the normal number of D-Dimers in COVID-19 patients was 137 people (60.6%) while the abnormal number of D-Dimers was 89 people (39.4%). The results of the D-Dimer examination increased in COVID-19 patients indicating a coagulation disorder in the patient.
