The purpose of this handbook is to assist nursing students in fully understanding the policies and
procedures of the nursing program. This handbook and the materials in it are used throughout the entire
nursing program. However, this handbook is not all-inclusive and does not replace the Indiana University
Kokomo Bulletin, Indiana University's Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct or Indiana
University Kokomo's New Student Orientation Handbook. Most Indiana University academic & student
policies can be found online at www.iuk.edu. In addition, the material in this guide is subject to change.
Students will be given any addendum to this Handbook as necessary.
