Journal of Biomedicine and Translational Research (JBTR) is an open access, international peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on: clinical medicine, molecular medicine, tropical medicine, infectious diseases, cardiovascular medicine, molecular biology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, and pharmacotherapy with particular interest on the link between clinical and basic research called translational research. The journal publishes articles on a wide range of subjects of interest to researchers and clinical practitioners. Papers from any institution related to the field above are welcome, collaborative research is more appreciated.

In the present time, due to rapid progress of genomic research and medical services globally, the JBTR have collaborated scientifically with Indonesian Society of Human Genetics (InaSHG) and Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine (PAPDI) Semarang branch by inviting members of InaSHG and PAPDI to be a member of editorial board and advisory board as well as reviewers.
